Our experience was disappointing for a number of reasons.

First, she told us we could “sell the house quickly, due to the comps, for $270K”. She never even showed the house, or had an Open House. We asked her if we needed to put a heater in the studio/guesthouse and she said, “I wouldn’t”. An offer came in at $250K and she said to counter at $265K because “$250K is a low-ball offer” (or something to that effect). We-my husband and I countered at $258 “as is” and they accepted. The house ONLY appraised for $240K. What were the comps she used to lead us to believe we could “sell it quickly for $270K”? The appraiser would not include the square footage of the studio because there wasn’t a heater. Well that’s great. We could have purchased a heater but took her advice. The 220 square feet would have more than made up the difference. She was not forth coming with any information as we had to initiate 90% of communications. Our ‘thank you’ for doing business with her was a simple text to my husband AFTER he texted inquiring about the status of the closing. Thank you for asking for our feedback.
